It\u2019s also vital we protect this package,\u201d Sharma said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.N. meeting in Glasgow, Scotland, was billed as humanity\u2019s last and best chance to keep the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/10\/29\/whats-at-stake-at-cop26-a-guide-to-the-make-or-break-climate-issues.html\">all-important<\/a>&nbsp;goal of 1.5 degrees Celsius alive. As an economic rationalist, Prime Minister Modi rose to power after a spectacularly successful term as chief minister of the Indian state of Gujarat.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Narendra_Modi\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia seem to hate Modi<\/a>, in my opinion with a similar level of venom as they display towards President Trump, which gives you a pretty good idea what kind of politician Modi is.
