The insolvency company Teneo is among those holding discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Government is expected to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/money\/consumer-affairs\/escape-new-green-taxes-energy-bill\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">set out proposals next month to move \u00adsurcharges for green energy off electricity bills and on to gas bills.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This change will effectively make electricity cheaper and gas more expensive, and is designed to encourage customers to ditch gas-fired boilers and petrol cars in favour of electric heat pumps, as well as buying electric cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heating buildings, including homes, is one of the largest sources of carbon emissions \u2013 generating about 20pc of the national total.
