But now, we get to sit back and enjoy them&nbsp;<em>squirm&nbsp;<\/em>and&nbsp;<em>obfuscate&nbsp;<\/em>their way through a record-breaking bout of August cold<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Supporting this looming fall-like cool-down is NOAA\u2019s latest 6-10 Day Temperature Outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The outlook, released Sunday from the agency\u2019s Climate Prediction Center, confirms that \u201ccolder than normal\u201d conditions will impact a large part of the northern Rockies, including Colorado and Utah. Some places in Montana are expected to see highs only in the 40s over the next few days, with lows in the 30s \u2014 such readings would threaten all-time August lows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you best take heed when the likes of NOAA are telling you it\u2019s going to get cold. The agency has a provable warm-bias.
